Owen Wilson is the voice of Lightning McQueen in Cars the hot rod racer who stands to become the youngest winner of the Piston Cup Championship when he gets sidetracked to Radiator Springs and his dreams of winning are gone in a flash. Owen says he’s got a need for speed.
“It’s kind of like Maverick in Top Gun, somebody who just wants to go fast and win. Over the course of this movie he has to learn that there’s more important things.”
